Technology, Economics and the Future of Geothermal Energy — bringing together world-leading researchers, engineers, and policymakers in Trabzon.
This 2-day workshop brings together geothermal experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest research developments and real-world projects in the field.
The workshop is relevant to engineers, geologists and companies or financial advisors considering investment in geothermal energy for heat and power projects.
Participants may present their work or simply attend. Oral presentations: 20–30 minutes; poster presentations also possible.
Built into the sheer cliffs of the Altındere Valley, Sumela Monastery is an ancient site dating back to the 4th century. It remains one of Turkey’s most striking historical and cultural treasures.
